APPARATUS FOR REMOVING INCLUSIONS OF MOLTEN STEEL IN TUNDISH

PURPOSE: A molten steel inclusion removal apparatus for a tundish is provided to supply argon gas to a wider range by discharging argon gas to the entire peripheral part of a stopper through porous refractory. CONSTITUTION: A molten steel inclusion removal apparatus for a tundish comprises a stopper(3), porous refractory(3b), an argon gas tank(6), and a supply pipe(7). The stopper has a slit(3a) inside thereof and a through hole in the center thereof which is connected to the supply pipe through a branched supply pipe. The lower part of the through hole is reduced to form a nozzle hole. The porous refractory is installed outside the slit to be exposed to molten steel. The argon gas tank stores argon gas. The supply pipe connects the slit to the argon gas tank.
