PURPOSE: An ice-making apparatus is provided to prevent clogging or cohesion due to separated phase of solid-liquid mixed thermal medium by stirring the thermal medium in an inlet chamber or a discharge chamber. CONSTITUTION: An ice-making apparatus comprises a heat exchanger(100), a plurality of heat exchange passages(110), an inlet chamber(120), a discharge chamber, a scraper(200), and a driving unit(170). The heat exchanger absorbs thermal energy while refrigerant is evaporating. The heat exchange passages are installed inside the heat exchanger. The thermal medium is passed through the heat exchange passages to exchange heat with the refrigerant. The inlet chamber is communicated with the heat exchange passages and the thermal medium flows into the heat exchange passages through the inlet chamber. The discharge chamber is communicated with the heat exchange passages and the heat exchanged thermal medium flows out from the heat exchange passages through the discharge chamber. The scrapper includes a rod member and a blade and is inserted inside the heat exchange passages. The scrapper rotates to allow the thermal medium to move toward the discharge chamber from the inlet chamber. |
