<p>PURPOSE: A device for driving a light emitting diode is provided to reduce heat from a switching device and an LED channel by establishing different duties for each LED channel according to a voltage deviation between LED channels. CONSTITUTION: A detection unit(110) detects a voltage drop at a plurality of LED channels. A converting unit(120) converts an analog value detected from the detection unit into a digital value. A driving unit(130) sets different switching duties according to the digital value from the converting unit. The driving unit includes a plurality of drivers which drive the LED channel. A switching unit(140) selects a detection value from the detection unit and transmits the detection value to the converting unit.</p>
