PURPOSE: A power flow control system and method are provided to control a power flow in the range of a transmission line capacity by using a thyristor and to prevent overload. CONSTITUTION: A first radio frequency filter(110) controls a harmonic wave of power flow flowing in a sending terminal(20). A second high frequency filter(120) controls a harmonic wave of power flow flowing in a receiving terminal(40). A power electronic component(150) is serially connected to the sending terminal and the receiving terminal. A management device(200) is inputted system data from outside. A control device(300) creates control data by using measurement data measuring the sending terminal and the receiving terminal. First and second transmissions control the harmonic wave.
