PURPOSE: An imaging apparatus, a camera system, and a lighting device are provided to control the light of a lighting device for photographing by considering the intention of a photographer when a control mode of the lighting for photographing has been changed in an exposure fixed state. CONSTITUTION: A computation unit(8) computes an exposure control value based on an acquired subject brightness information. An exposure control unit controls the exposure by using the calculated exposure control value. An exposure fixing unit sets an exposure fixed state. When a state of a lighting device is changed in the exposure fixed state, the exposure fixing unit releases the exposure fixed state.
