MOBILE TERMINAL AND CONTROL METHOD USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A portable terminal is provided to improve the convenience of a user by eliminating additional functions of the portable terminal by using an SIM(Subscriber Identity Module) card. CONSTITUTION: An SIM card unit(110) receives IP(Internet Protocol) device information including the local IP address of an IP device from a small base station. A control unit(120) transmits a control command which controls the IP device by using the local IP address stored in the SIM card unit. The received IP device information is stored in the SIM card unit.
