PURPOSE: A compression garment device equipped with a supporting pocket is provided to implement compression therapy by being maintained at desired compression positions. CONSTITUTION: A compression garment device(20) includes expandable therapy pockets(26A, 26B, 26C) and an expandable supporting pocket(28). Compression garment(22) allows therapy pockets to cover the desired part of a physical body. A compressor(24) is in connection with the therapy pockets and the supporting pocket in order to selectively compress the pockets by raising gas pressures in the pockets. The compressor includes a sensor(48) and a controller(24B).
