PURPOSE: A grab driving device for heavy equipment is provided to simplify structure and reduce manufacturing costs by operating a upper grab and a lower grab simultaneously only by operating one cylinder connected to the upper grab. CONSTITUTION: A grab driving device for heavy equipment comprises a rod shaft(3), a rod(5), and a connection shaft(7). The rod shaft is formed in the left end of a heavy equipment arm(1). The rod is mounted on the rod shaft and the connection shaft is formed in the upper end of the rod. A piston(11) of a cylinder(9) mounted on the right side of the heavy equipment arm is connected to the connection shaft. An arm link(12) is attached in the connection shaft and a first arm(15) of an upper jaw(13) is connected to the end of the arm link. A grab connection shaft(17) is formed in the lower part of a second arm(16) mounted on the upper jaw. A grab connection shaft(17') of a second arm(16') mounted on a lower jaw(13') is connected by a pin(22). |
