摘要 PURPOSE: A device and a method for evaluating weldability in real time by measuring the acoustic emission of a welded portion are provided to ensure improved measurement accuracy by employing an exclusive jig capable of arranging a sound wave receiver close to a welding torch. CONSTITUTION: A weldability evaluating device comprises a sound wave sensor(110), a sound wave signal computing unit(140), and a welded portion defect output unit. The sound wave sensor is arranged close to a welding torch in order to detect sound wave emitted from a welded portion(B) during welding. The sound wave signal computing unit receives a sound wave signal from the sound wave sensor, analyzes the sound wave signal through comparison with reference data, and determines defects of the welded portion. The welded portion defect output unit outputs the defects determined by the sound wave signal computing unit.
