<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply fabricate a small apparatus which forms the back of a center fold booklet into a square shape. <P>SOLUTION: The back of the center fold booklet is pressed and flattened by a pressing member 222 which advances from an initial position to a pressing position. A forming and discharge unit 114 containing the pressing member 222 is rotatably provided between the forming position capable of pressing the back of the center fold booklet and the discharge position capable of discharging the center fold booklet after formation. Before first rotation after operation start of the apparatus, initialization which sets the pressing member 222 to a waiting position is carried out. A region through which the forming and discharge unit 114 passes in rotation can be minimized and the apparatus can be miniaturized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
