摘要 The invention relates to using a mechanized MSG welding method, preferably an MSG narrow-gap method, allowing low-cost erection of a tower (20), for example, of a wind power plant. A plurality of vertically or horizontally assembled cylindrical, tubular elements (10, 11, 12) can be connected, as are provided when erecting the tower, for example, of a wind power plant. The tubular components can thereby be welded to each other in the horizontal or joining position, whereby a low-cost production is made possible in conjunction with a narrow-gap version of the MSG method, in particular also outside of the production building at the erection and/or assembly site.
