<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical sound signal generation device that suppresses feeling of unnatural discontinuity of a musical sound during performance. <P>SOLUTION: Plural sound generation channels CH0, CH1...CH127 that generate musical sound signals are provided. A CPU responds respectively to musical sound signal generation instructions of plural different types, and allocates generation of the musical sound signals of the plural different types to any of the plural sound generation channels CH0, CH1...CH127. The CPU selects, in response to a new musical sound signal generation instruction, a sound generation channel where a sound volume level of the musical sound signal being generated at the channel is equal to or lower than a threshold value corresponding to a type of the musical sound signal being generated at the channel among plural different threshold values according to types of musical sound signals, as a sound generation channel to which generation of the new musical sound signal is to be allocated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
