<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provides a printing apparatus that takes the removal of an ink cartridge into consideration. <P>SOLUTION: The printing apparatus (1) includes an ink cartridge 7 that is removal from a printing apparatus body (2), and an attachment position 13 to which the ink cartridge 7 is attached. The ink cartridge 7 is removal from the attachment position 13, from an upper surface side of the printing apparatus (1).
