<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of improving warm-up performance. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing device comprises a heating roller 78 which is heated by a heating source 84 and rotated, a fixing member 74 in slide contact with a part of the outer peripheral surface of the heating roller 78, a fixing belt 77 having flexibility which is laid between the heating roller 78 and the fixing member 74, a pressure roller 72 which is brought into pressure contact with the fixing member 74 through the fixing belt 77 to form a nip part, which are arranged in this order in the pressure direction to form the nip part, and separating means for separating the heating roller 78 and the fixing member 74. The pressure at the nip partis is given by the pressure force between the heating roller 78 and the pressure roller 72 through the fixing belt 77 and the fixing member 74. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
