<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for uniformly mixing heterogeneous liquids in a short time, regarding a technique for mixing the heterogeneous liquids, in order to analyze a chemical characteristic of one of the liquids from a result of reaction of the heterogeneous liquids. <P>SOLUTION: A microchemical analysis system for mixing heterogeneous liquids and making them react to thereby perform chemical analysis of one of the liquids comprises: a channel for merging and delivering a first liquid and a second liquid; a mixing pod 104 that is interposed in a junction of the first liquid and the second liquid or in the channel after the junction, that bulges out from the channel to have a predetermined capacity, and that is configured to temporarily retain the first liquid and the second liquid; a mixing acceleration part 105 for applying a stirring force to an inside of the mixing pod 104; analysis means for detecting a result of reaction of the first liquid and the second liquid; and processing means for converting the result of reaction outputted by the analysis means into a physical quantity indicative of a chemical characteristic of the liquid.
