摘要 <p>Honeycomb structure comprises several channels (18), which opens at inlet- (26e) and outlet surfaces (26s). The structure is made of a ceramic material comprising sintered grains. The honeycomb structure exhibits an open crack exhibiting a length of 3-30 mm and a maximum width, which is less than 3 times the maximum size of the sintered grains, and is formed as a microcrack. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a composite body comprising a composition of the above honeycomb structure; (2) a device, preferably a heat exchanger and a particle filter (1) exhibiting at least one above sintered honeycomb structure; and (3) producing the honeycomb structure, comprising extruding the ceramic material through a nozzle to form a honeycomb-preform, drying, debinding and sintering the preform, and clogging optionally the channels of the sintered honeycomb structure, before or after sintering, where at least one portion of the preform is exposed during the debinding to an environment suitable for generating the microcrack such that the sintered honeycomb structure is obtained after sintering.</p>
