<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission/reception module capable of inexpensively and highly efficiently changing the topology of an optical connection network, while saving a space. <P>SOLUTION: An optical transmission/reception module 11 includes: an optical transmission section 15 for outputting multiple optical signals with different optical properties to the outside; optical reception sections 16 for receiving the multiple optical signals with different optical properties from the outside; optical signal transfer elements 17 arranged on input paths of the optical signals inputted from the outside to the optical reception sections 16, so as to transfer the optical signals from the optical transmission section 15 to optical signal output paths to the outside in accordance with the optical properties of the optical signals; routing elements 18 arranged between the optical signal transfer elements 17 and the output paths, so as to change transfer destinations according to the optical properties of the optical signals inputted from the optical signal transfer elements 17; and optical signal confluent elements 19 arranged on the output paths, so as to allow the optical signals output from the routing elements 18 to meet the output paths. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
