PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep driving performance intact despite miniaturization and easy assembly in an ultrasonic linear actuator for transmitting elongation and shrinkage of a piezoelectric element to a rod to move a mobile body engaged with the rod with a predetermined frictional force by means of a speed difference between elongation and shrinkage of the piezoelectric element.
SOLUTION: A mobile body 103 comprises a rigid body 111 and a resilient flat spring part 112 both of sheet metal parts welded or soldered together at 113. Instead of a cap for pressing a rod 102 against the body 111, the flat spring part 112 can directly press the rod 102 to implement miniaturization and easy assembly. The body 111 has an increased plate thickness to ensure predetermined rigidity and the flat spring part 112 has a reduced plate thickness to ensure predetermined resiliency, which can keep driving performance intact.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
