<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system capable of easily turning off the power supply to a specific post-processor. <P>SOLUTION: To an image forming apparatus 1000 for forming an image on a sheet based on a printing job to be input, a plurality of post-processors for post-processing a sheet to be ejected by the apparatus 1000 are sequentially connected on the downstream side in the direction of sheet conveyance, thereby configuring the image forming system. By using supply means for supplying the plurality of post-processors with a signal that simultaneously turns on the power supply to the plurality of post-processors, the power supply to the plurality of post-processors are simultaneously turned on. Then, among the plurality of post-processors, control means turns off the power supply to a second post-processor connected further downstream of a first post-processor located in the furthest downstream place where a sheet is conveyed in a printing job. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
