<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas treatment device for constantly reducing a specific substance present in an exhaust gas. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust gas treatment device includes: an exhaust path 3 through which exhaust gas is distributed; a first catalyst 4; a second catalyst 5; an adsorbent 6; a heat exchanger 7; a bypass 8 communicated with the exhaust path 3, and for delivering the exhaust gas that has passed the first catalyst 4, to the second catalyst 5 without allowing the exhaust gas to pass through the adsorbent 6 and the heat exchanger 7; and a controller 9 for controlling the inflow of the exhaust gas that has passed the first catalyst body 4, into the bypass 8 according to the temperature of the first catalyst body 4 and the temperature of the second catalyst body 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
