GAS CONCENTRATION MEASURING METHOD AND GAS CONCENTRATION MEASURING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas concentration measuring method and a gas concentration measuring apparatus capable of accurately measuring gas concentration in a short time.

SOLUTION: A gas concentration measuring apparatus 1 includes: detection means 34 for detecting transmitted light quantity of fiber type Fabry-Perot etalon; temperature control means 302 for changing the temperature of the fiber type Fabry-Perot etalon within a set range; light quantity detection means 303 for detecting the maximum transmitted light quantity and minimum transmitted light quantity of the fiber Fabry-Perot etalon according to the change in the temperature; and concentration calculation means 304 for calculating the concentration of a gas based on a ratio of the maximum transmitted light quantity to the minimum transmitted light quantity and a Lambert-Beer law equation. Accordingly, the concentration of the gas can be accurately measured in a short time. The above can be applicable for a gas concentration measuring method.
