摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce distortion by welding a ring rear to a differential case to suppress the occurrence of foreign noise from the ring gear when a differential subassembly is actuated, and to reduce labor hour and cost in welding. <P>SOLUTION: In the structure for welding the ring gear 6 to a flange 5 of the differential case of the differential subassembly, the differential case has a connection part in an outer circumference of the flange and a plurality of reinforcement ribs 7 provided to neighbor the connection part. A plurality of tentative welding beads 11 are provided between an inner circumference of the ring gear 6 pressed into the connection part of the flange 5 and the connection part. Positions of the tentative welding beads 11 are set to be shifted from arrangement of the reinforcement ribs 7 provided in the differential case. Actual welding beads 12 are continuously provided to overlap the plurality of welding beads 11 between the inner circumference of the ring gear 6 and the flange 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
