<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of components of a base isolation foundation device of a wooden or steel-frame buildings, to increase the easiness of system assembly and strength against building loads, and to execute base isolation of vertical movements and omnidirectional horizontal movements of an earthquake. <P>SOLUTION: A main body A for which a horizontally long metal plates are piled up between assembly bases facing each other in two or more columns for mounting the base of a building, a support B for which horizontally long metal plates are piled up to support the main body A and a support BS interposed between the main body A and the support B are connected by a shaft S. The shaft S is loosely fitted to a shaft lead oblong hole SLH, the support B is freely movably connected to the main body A, and the base isolation of the vertical movement is executed.
