COMPOSITE DIELECTRIC PROTECTIVE FILM FOR PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

A composite dielectric protective film for a plasma display panel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The composite dielectric protective film on a dielectric layer (4) of the front substrate in the plasma display panel includes crystal particles (5) with core-shell structures. The inner core (8) is a material having high second electron emitting coefficient, and the outer shell (7) is made of magnesium oxide. The composite dielectric protective film is able to decrease remarkably the ignition voltage and the sustain voltage of the plasma display panel, shorten the addressing time, and prolong the useful life of the plasma display panel.
