摘要

PURPOSE: A leadless free-cutting copper alloy not containing bismuth is provided to obtain a brass ingot material for casting, which contains lead(Pb) of only 0.1% or less, and to prevent secondary environmental pollution by excluding a separate chemical process for lead removal. CONSTITUTION: A leadless free-cutting copper alloy not containing bismuth comprises copper of 65-75%, silicon of 1-1.6%, aluminum of 0.2-3.5 weight%, tin of 0.5-1.5%, selenium of 0.05-0.2%, phosphorus of 0.05-0.2%, and zinc and inevitable impurities of the remaining amount.
