<p>Disclosed are a network access method and a device for MTC devices. In the technical solution embodied in the present invention, an access request message sent to a network device carries the current location information of an MTC device, so that the network device can determine whether the current location of the MTC device is in a pre-defined area that the MTC is allowed to access, and, based on the determination and corresponding policies, determines whether to allow the MTC device to access, thereby improving a network's mobility management mechanism for low-mobility terminal devices in machine type communications. Specifically solved is the problem of terminal access management and control when a terminal device initiates an access request while being outside of an area where the device is allowed.</p> |
