PURPOSE: A method for preparing O-(5, 6, 7, 8-tetra hydro-2-naphthyl)N-(6-methoxy-2-pyridyl)-N-methyl thiocarbamate is provided to ensure whiteness and to manufacture medicinal product. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing O-(5, 6, 7, 8-tetra hydro-2-naphthyl)N-(6-methoxy-2-pyridyl)-N-methyl thiocarbamate comprises: a step of reacting O-(5, 6, 7, 8-tetra hydro-2-naphthyl)chlorothioformate and 2-methoxy-6-methylaminopyridine or N-methyl-N-(6-methoxy-2-pyridyl)carbamoylchloride and 5, 6, 7, 8-tetra hydro-2-naphthol at 50-70°C for 1-50 hours.
