PURPOSE: A steering shaft assembly is provided to manufacture a plurality of components to have a standardized structure so that an installation and maintenance become simple. CONSTITUTION: A steering shaft assembly comprises steering shafts(31,32), a friction plate(6), and power transfer units(2,4, 5,,46). The steering shafts are arranged inside shaft jacket because rotation with respect to each other is prevented. The shaft jacket comprises an outer jacket(8) and inner jacket(9). The inner jacket is arranged inside the outer jacket where a first penetration aperture(44) is provided. The friction plate is arranged in the aperture. The power transfer units respectively comprise a plurality of inclined surfaces facing each other.
