<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a sublimable thermal transfer medium is required to hinder a dye layer from being transferred wholly to an image receiving sheet under whatever condition printing is performed, and is further required not to stick not only when a high energy is applied from a thermal head, but also when a low energy is applied so as to meet a water-based image receiving sheet. <P>SOLUTION: The sublimable thermal transfer medium 1 includes a heat-resistant resin layer 1C on a rear surface of a base material 1A, and includes at least the dye layer 1B which contains a sublimable dye in a binder on the other front surface. A release agent composed of at least two kinds of denatured silicone oils is added to the dye layer 1B. One of the denatured silicone oils is a non-reactive silicone oils passed through side chain denaturation by polyether of a molecular weight of not smaller than 8,000. The other one of the denatured silicone oils is a reactive silicone oil having passed through side chain denaturation by diamine of a molecular weight of not larger than 3,000. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
