<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic bottle which secures strength even if reduced in weight, and is excellent in design and easiness to grip performance. <P>SOLUTION: The plastic bottle 10 includes a mouth 11, a neck 12, a barrel 20 and a bottom 14. The barrel 20 includes a constriction 21 at the center and non-constrictions 22 and 23 located above and below the constriction 21. The constriction 21 includes a plurality of rectangular faces 27 and a plurality of parallelogrammic faces 29, and the constriction 21 has a polygonal cross-sectional shape along its full height direction. Thus, the strength of the constriction 21 is kept even if the plastic bottle 10 is reduced in weight, and the bottle can be excellent in design and easiness to grip performance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
