PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compactify a beam light projecting and receiving device of a coaxial type and simplify assembly adjustment work.

SOLUTION: A light projecting and receiving separation member that separates an optical path of a projection light beam that heads from a light source 210 to a scan mirror 240 and an optical path of return light that is reflected from an object within an object region and heads from the scan mirror 240 to a light receiving element 260 is formed by one prism 230, and the prism 230 includes a reflection region 231 (an outer reflection surface) that reflects the projection light beam in a direction of the scan mirror 240, a transmission region 232 that transmits the return light from the scan mirror 240, and an inner refection surface D that reflects the return light transmitted through the transmission region 232 in a direction of the light receiving element 260 inside the prism.
