<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which can reduce CO2 and also preventing accidents due to falling asleep and inattentive driving through adoption of automatic driving, in light of the recent situation where reduction of CO2 has become critical as the greatest problem causing environmental destruction and where vehicles that use fossil fuels such as gasoline and gas oil are among various things that generate CO2 in large amounts, and in hope of significant contribution to reduction of CO2 by this method. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle transportation system promotes a wide spread of electric vehicles and allows long-distance traveling in spite of storage-cell-powered vehicles by producing rails reduced in cost, for long-distance traveling of the electric vehicles, and laying it in a wide range to reduce the cost of the vehicles. In the system, a motor is driven by the electricity obtained from the rail, whereby the vehicles can be reliably driven with turning-on of lights in darkness, heating in winter or cooling in summer. Further, the storage cells are constantly charged to allow for continuous driving as long as the rails are available, thereby reducing CO2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
