SINGLE-CAPPED FLUORESCENT LAMP WITH HELICAL ARC TUBE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single-capped fluorescent lamp with a spiral arc tube with little luminance unevenness from initial lighting.

SOLUTION: A compact self-ballasted fluorescent lamp 1 comprises: a spiral arc tube 2; an exhaust tube 7 extended near a cap 5 from one end part of the spiral arc tube 2 for performing exhaustion inside the spiral arc tube 2; a first mercury discharging source 10 provided at a prescribed position in the exhaust tube 7; and a second mercury discharging source 11 of nearly a spherical shape provided in the spiral arc tube 2 and movable in the spiral arc tube 2.
