<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate heat exchanger capable of improving heat exchanger effectiveness. <P>SOLUTION: The plate heat exchanger 1 is provided with a heat exchanging medium inflow path 6 at one end side of heat transfer plates 2, 3, and a heat exchanging medium outflow path 7 is provided at another end side of the heat transfer plates 2, 3. Further, a heat exchanged medium inflow path 9 is provided at either of the one end side or the another end side of the heat transfer plates 2, 3, and a heat exchanged medium outflow path 10 is provided at either of the one end side or the another end side of the heat transfer plates 2, 3. Between heat transfer plates forming a heat exchange medium circulation space 4, a first partition 21a and a third partition 23a for partitioning the heat exchange medium circulation space 4 are formed between the one end side and the another end side of the heat transfer plates 2, 3.
