The invention relates to an inhalable pharmaceutical formulation comprising N-(3- ethynylphenylamino)-6,7-bis(2-methoxyethoxy)-4-quinazolinamine mesylate salt and to methods for the treatment of cancer comprising administering a therapeutically effective dose to a patient in need thereof of an inhalable pharmaceutical formulation comprising N-(3- ethynylphenylamino)-6,7-bis(2-methoxyethoxy)-4-quinazolinamine mesylate salt, wherein the cancer is selected from the group consisting of non-small cell lung cancer and bronchoalveolar carcinoma.
