The characteristic that is redundant to visually presented information of display element and/or display system, tactile and/or kinesthetic perceptual information content are provided to user as representation of visually perceived information. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Adaptive variable information input and output device for multimodal and multi sub-modal human-machine interaction for monitoring and controlling human-machine control system. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The number of information input elements of man-machine system can be changed without restricting the functionality guaranteed. The reduction of complexity and consequent misuse in man-machine interaction is initiated by system. By the mediation of tactile and/or kinesthetic and/or visually perceptible information, system state change can be resolved. The number of input devices is reduced by context-dependent change of geometry, location, shape, form elements and hardness of operating area.
