DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURING LIQUID CRYSTAL CELL AND METHOD THEREOF

A device for manufacturing a liquid crystal cell and the method thereof are provided. The device comprises a vacuum pre-aligning chamber (1), a vacuum press bonding chamber (2) and a sealant solidifying chamber (3). The vacuum pre-aligning chamber (1) includes a comb-type conveying system which can align a first substrate (40) and a second substrate (41) and convey them into the vacuum press bonding chamber (2), when the vacuum press bonding chamber (2) is in a near vacuum state, the first substrate (40) and the second substrate (41) are pressed and bonded to form a substrate assembly (42) by a pressing device in the vacuum press bonding chamber (2). Then the assembly (42) is transferred into the sealant solidifying chamber (3) by a conveying device. The surface of the assembly (42) is illuminated by at least one point light source (30) of UV-light which moves above the assembly (42) in the sealant solidifying chamber (3) to solidify at least one sealant (400) in the assembly(42), so that the process of manufacturing a liquid crystal cell of a liquid crystal panel is finished.
