The method involves determining a total target torque (4) for a hybrid drive system of a vehicle. An electromotor target torque (10) and a combustion engine target torque (7) are determined corresponding to the total target rotational torque. An electromotor actual torque (24) and a combustion engine actual torque (25) are determined, and a total actual torque is determined under an application of the electromotor actual torque and combustion engine actual torque. The total target torque is created by summing the electromotor target torque and combustion engine target torque. An independent claim is also included for a hybrid drive system comprising an electromotor.
