<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which an image processing apparatus that executes document storage processing and processing of notifying that a new document has been stored by the document storage processing can not appropriately shift to a power saving mode. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus having a power saving mode comprises: storing means for storing a document in a storage device; notifying means for periodically notifying new information of the document which has been stored in the storage device by the storing means to a predetermined destination apparatus; and control means for controlling a shift to the power saving mode which can not notify by the notifying means until at least the notifying means notifies the information of the document, after the storage of the document by the storing means has been completed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
