<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a positioning performance of a pressure vessel without deteriorating a protection performance against an external input. <P>SOLUTION: In a pressure vessel, an FRP layer includes: a required material thickness layer having a material thickness that can stand a gas pressure; and an external input protection layer 21 having a material thickness that can protect the pressure vessel 1 against an external input. Part of the external input protection layer 21 is cut out in an axis direction of a tank to form a recessed groove 13, and a tank band 14 is engaged with the recessed groove 13 so as to mount the pressure vessel 1 to the vehicle.
