<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dual specificity oligonucleotide which carries out a template-dependent reaction by high specificity, and a method of producing a nucleic acid molecule by a template dependent extension reaction using the dual specificity oligonucleotide. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to various processes by a template-dependent extension reaction using a dual specificity oligonucleotide and a dual specificity oligonucleotide composed of three different T<SB POS="POST">m</SB>portions therefor.
