<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamp mechanism which can be made small in size and low in price. <P>SOLUTION: In the clamp mechanism in which a clamp is driven by a rotary driving section to press and hold a work, a rotating body of the rotary driving section is provided on a base so as to be rotatable, a movable body of the clamp is provided on the base so as to be displaceable, a connection groove is formed to extend in a direction orthogonal to a clamp direction at the movable body of the clamp while a connection pin is provided at a position shifted from a rotational center of the rotating body at the rotating body of the rotary driving section, the connection pin is inserted into the connection groove to connect the rotary driving section and the clamp in conjunction with each other, a guide groove is formed to extend in the clamp direction at the movable body of the clamp, a guide pin provided at the base is inserted into the guide groove, and the clamp presses and holds the work after the connection pin provided at the rotating body of the rotary driving section has passed a virtual straight line which connects the rotational center of the rotating body and a center of the guide pin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
