The cam plate 43 of an axial piston pump or motor is supported for pivotal movement on a roller bearing assembly 75 which comprises rollers 88 which engage tracks in the housing cover 13 and on the cam plate. The rollers 88 are mounted in cages 89 which carry pinions 96 which engage with segments 98 on the cover and spring loaded segments 100 on the cam so that the rollers 88 may roll during adjustment but are retained in the tracks. The piston rods 36 are secured to a ring 41 engaging the cam 43 which ring is secured to a member 50 engaged by a spring loaded member 67 slidable on an extension of the block 21, the member 50 having slots 60 accomodating the rods 36 which are engageable therewith to transmit rotary motion. |
