摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently secure a gas flow path in a reaction gas introduction/discharge part. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell includes a membrane electrode assembly and a separator 310 which is formed by processing a metal sheet and disposed so as to face the membrane electrode assembly. The separator 310 comprises: an opening portion 311 constituting a reaction gas flow path, which is roughly perpendicular to the surface direction of the membrane electrode assembly, in a position outside of the position facing the membrane electrode assembly; a folded back section 312 which is formed by folding back, toward the membrane electrode assembly, a portion of the metal sheet included in the position where the opening portion 311 is formed, and of which the end on the opposite side of the membrane electrode assembly protrudes into the opening portion; and side opening portions 318 which are located on both sides of the protrusion part of the folded back section 312, and connect an inner flow path space formed by the folded back section 312 with the reaction gas flow path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
