<p>A discharge passage (7) for discharging residual oil and a gas from inside a pump chamber (2A) is formed in the housing (2) of this vane pump (1). A reed valve (8) for opening and closing said discharge passage (7) is also provided in said housing. The valve seat (8A) of said reed valve (8) comprises a concavity (2G) on the housing (2) side, and the valve element (8B) of the reed valve (8) comprises a metal sheet that exhibits elasticity. When the vane pump (1) is stopped, the valve element (8B) moves away from the valve seat (8A) and a gap (d) is maintained therebetween. Residual oil from inside the pump chamber (2A) is discharged outside the housing (2) via said gap (d) and the abovementioned discharge passage (7). Residual oil from inside the pump chamber (2A) can be efficiently discharged outside the housing (2) when this vane pump (1) stops.</p> |
