COMPRESSION MOLDING APPARATUS FOR BRICKS AND METHOD USING THE SAME

A compression molding apparatus for bricks comprises a frame (1), a molding box (3), an upper ram (21), a supporting plate mechanism, a distributing vehicle (4) and a brick -receiving machine (5) arranged on two opposite sides of the frame (1), respectively. A horizontal working table (11) is provided at the lower end of the frame (1). The upper ram (21) is positioned above the molding box (3), with the upper end thereof being connected with an oil cylinder (2) of the upper ram (21). The supporting plate mechanism comprises a supporting plate (6) used for closing the bottom of the molding box (3) and movably overlapped on the horizontal working table (11) located under the molding box (3), and a reciprocating plate driving oil cylinder (61) positioned beneath the distributing vehicle (4) and used for horizontally pushing and pulling the supporting plate (6) which is connected to the piston head of the plate driving oil cylinder (61). The apparatus requires only one supporting plate (6), so that the production efficiency is increased and the production cost is decreased. A compression molding method for bricks using the apparatus is also provided.
