<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an image object in the vicinity of an insert position in document data, in which the image object is inserted in a character string composed of a plurality of character objects, and to suppress a blank area from being generated in a column or page, while preventing the image object from being interrupted in a boundary part of the column or page, in a display device for displaying an image corresponding to the document data. <P>SOLUTION: An on_edge designation object included in document data is displayed at the end of a column (first column) in which an object (character "j") disposed just before the on_edge designation object in the document data is displayed. Then, one or more objects (characters "k", "l", "m", "n") disposed just after the on_edge designation object in the document data are displayed in an area at an upstream side in a document direction rather than the on_edge designation object in the corresponding column. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
