PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which can suppress an increase in the size of a power transmission device.

SOLUTION: A changeover shaft for switching a state of operation of the operation mechanism of the power transmission device is protruded from a housing portion for housing at least a part of a rotating member. An electric actuator for moving the changeover shaft is disposed at a position apart from a portion among the surface of the housing portion, the portion allowing the changeover shaft to protrude. When viewed in the axial direction of the rotating shaft of the rotating member, at least a portion of the electric actuator is disposed closer to a case side than a vertical line passing through the portion from which the changeover shaft protrudes. When viewed in the axial direction of the changeover shaft, at least a portion of the electric actuator is disposed so as to be superposed on the housing portion of the case.
