摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assess the deterioration condition of a plurality of secondary batteries accurately in a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A battery system comprises a secondary battery, a temperature sensor for measuring the temperature of the secondary battery and outputting the measured temperature as temperature information, a current sensor for measuring the current passing through the secondary battery and outputting the measured current as current information, a voltage sensor for measuring the voltage of the secondary battery and outputting the measured voltage as voltage information, and a controller for receiving input of the temperature information, the current information, and the voltage information. The controller calculates a power efficiency in charge and discharge of the secondary battery using the current information and the voltage information, calculates a charging rate of the secondary battery using the temperature information, the current information, and the voltage information, determines whether or not the amounts of charge discharged and charged by the secondary battery are essentially equal using the current information, and compares a threshold value determined in accordance with the charging rate with the power efficiency in charge and discharge to assess the deterioration of the secondary battery if the amounts are determined to be equal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
