<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air compressor capable of preventing compressed air from being leaked. <P>SOLUTION: The air compressor includes: a high pressure cylinder 421; a high pressure piston 422 that slides in the high pressure cylinder 421 to define a high pressure compression chamber 424; a bent part that bends from the diameter direction of the high pressure cylinder 421 toward the high pressure compression chamber 424; and an abutting part that extends from the bent part to come into contact with the inner periphery of the high pressure cylinder 421 and seals the high pressure cylinder 421 and the high pressure piston 422. The air compressor also comprises a first lip ring 425 and a second lip ring 426 that are arranged in a mutually superposed manner in the sliding direction of the high pressure piston 422. The bent part of the second lip ring 426 abuts on the bent part of the first lip ring 425 and has a nearly equal curvature to that of the bent part of the first lip ring 425. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
